Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious global model search event in existence. Now in its 30th year, the contest showcases fresh faces from over 50 countries, with a lucrative modelling contract worth US$250,000 for the overall winner. Notable contestants in the past include Elsa Benitez, Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman.

Ksenia Sukhinova, Miss World 2008, shows the winner of Miss England 2009, Rachel Christie, niece of Olympic sprinter Linford Christie, the way to the awaiting cameras. Rachel will compete in the Miss World finals later this year.
