Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious global model search event in existence. Now in its 30th year, the contest showcases fresh faces from over 50 countries, with a lucrative modelling contract worth US$250,000 for the overall winner. Notable contestants in the past include Elsa Benitez, Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman.

Colin Chau has teamed up with Top Model UK as both a partner and sponsor for their 2010 premier model search campaign, where the winner will receive modelling contracts with top agencies. Colin will be contributing to the extensive prize list by offering professional photoshoots to the winner and first runner-up. Top Model UK is an annual event organised and run by Impact Model Management to find promising new talent in the UK.
